Accommodation and vacation
During the summer months we open our home to guests. We offer accommodation
in five cozy double rooms in a friendly atmosphere. We offer a choice of
breakfast, lunch and/ or dinner. You can relax in our bright and friendly
lounge and dining room with a great view. A special treat is a soak in one
of our hot pots just outside of the house or a in one of the natural hot
springs nearby. We welcome families, rider and non riders alike and are
happy to assist with your individual holiday planning.
We gladly help you to create your own program for day tours and
activities. You have a choice of riding trips, for few hours or a few days,
fishing, walking and hiking, sightseeing tours...
Ot you just walk around the area and enjoy the peace and beautiful
landscape and relax.

Here a few ideas for day trips from our farm:
- Geysir, Gullfoss, Thingvellir, waterfall Faxi, vulcanic crater Kerith
- Waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skogarfoss, museum Skogar, glacier, bird cliffs
- Drive to Bakki and flight to the Westman Islands
- drive with jeep or highland bus to Landmannalaugar
- drive with jeep or highland bus to Thorsmörk
- city tour of Reykjavik and visit of the Blue Lagoon or Whalewatching
- drive along the south coast, old church, hot springs of Krisuvik and Blue Lagoon
- Museum for volcano hekla and a walk at the foot of Hekla
- restored settlement farm Stöng and a walk to the waterfall nearby
- with an overnight stop to the national parc Skaftarfell and the glacial lagoon Jökulsarlon
